What is Titus 2?

Our primary goal is to train up children to be disciples and leaders for God by equipping them to connect with others.

Titus 2 is a program established to teach “social smarts” to students K-8th. Social Skills are a key component of relationships throughout everyone’s life. However, many students struggle with “social smarts” since these skills are not always intuitive or natural.
We’re here to help! The Titus 2 curriculum is an award winning and proven social skills teaching process. We help students better understand social thinking and teach strategies to navigate the complex and confusing world of social thinking!

The effects of poor socialization skills directly affect many areas of life and include some of the following challenges:
  • Difficulty completing assignments due to a lack of understanding of expectations of the teacher
  • Defined hesitancy or inability to ask for help appropriately
  • Lack of impulse control or anger management
  • Poor organization, task prioritization or time management skill implementation
  • Delayed transitioning from one activity to the next (executive functioning skills)
  • Difficulty interpreting and responding appropriately to lesson requirements or question
  • Challenges with or understanding unwritten social rules or cues of school environments (classroom, hallway, recess, cafeteria, assembly, school dances) ​

Small Groups have  4 students per group max and are matched by age/grade.

Titus 2 is lead by Jenipher Swanson, MA, BCBA. Send us an email below to request more info or join the group.

Mrs. Swanson is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received her B.A. in psychology from Michigan State University and her M.A. degree in Special Education with Distinction from California State University – Northridge with an emphasis in Autism. She began her work with children diagnosed with ASD in 1997 providing parent coaching and private in-home services. Working together with parents she developed curriculum and programs to meet each child’s individual needs. Mrs. Swanson is experienced in all aspects of clinical operations including supervision of in-home programs, parent education, functional behavior assessments, development and implementation of behavior plans, curriculum and program development for treatment plans, training protocols, and monitoring of all clinical programs. She is passionate about her work with children and enjoys continuing to contribute to the field and community.
