What We Teach
Bible
The Bible is our very life. Jesus himself said, "Man does not live by bread alone, but by the word of God." He was quoting Deuteronomy, and was Himself demonstrating a complete reliance on the Bible for his good. Here is David's assessment of the Scriptures:
"More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb."
Psalm 19:10
Recognizing this, we aim for our students to learn as much of the Bible from us as possible. We memorize Proverbs, sing Psalms, and study the Scriptures from one cover to the other in daily chapels. The Bible also features prominently in our informal discipleship training in our classes, where we instruct students how to live a godly life.
