All students must be on campus at 9:00 am sharp on Tuesday morning to get ready to depart for Hume SoCal!
Return to campus, Friday the 12th between 3:00-4:00pm.

The Hume SoCal Spiritual Emphasis retreat is a time set aside for Beacon Hill Rhetoric students, teachers and counselors to experience the love of Jesus Christ and grow closer to Him.

MEDICAL INFORMATION
Your camper's health and safety are our top priority. A BHCA medical professional will be on-site throughout the camp as a medical chaperone. This person is responsible for administering all daily medications and managing minor injuries at the on-site medical facilities. In the event of a significant injury or medical emergency requiring a hospital visit, a Beacon Hill administrator will accompany the camper, and parents will be immediately contacted.

- Departure - Please be at BHCA Upper School (1601 Temple Ave. Camarillo, CA 93010) no later than 9:00am to load the buses.
- Students can pack snacks for the drive to camp -- we will have lunch upon our arrival.
- Return - We anticipate returning to BHCA Upper Campus between 3:00-4:00pm on Friday, Sept. 12th
- Please watch BHCA social media for estimated time of arrival on 9/12/25.
- Friday we will stop for lunch on the ride home. Please bring money for lunch.
- Bible, Notebook, Pen or Pencil (seriously – bring these! You will 100% use them!)
- Flashlight
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Toiletries and a towel for swimming and showering
- Warm and cool clothes
- Jacket
- Water bottle
- Modest, one-piece swimsuit (no two-piece or tankinis), board shorts for boys
- Spending money for the Snack Shack and an extra $10 to participate in an Escape Room.
- Cell phone. Bring an old-school camera for pictures instead!
- Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor)
- Alcohol
- Tobacco
- Fireworks
- Firearms
- Electronic devices including Bluetooth speakers, gaming consoles, computers, etc.

- Girls: no crop tops or shirts that expose midriffs, shorts to fingertip length or longer.
- Our dress code is in place to create a positive and focused camp atmosphere. We appreciate your support in helping your camper pack accordingly.

- All medications, including supplements, must be in their original, labeled containers.
- Campers may carry only essential, immediate-use medications, such as an EpiPen or rescue inhaler.
- All other medications must be handed to the medical chaperone prior to bus departure. Please place these items in a bag clearly marked with your camper’s name.
