Course Add/Drop Policy
Rhetoric students may add or drop a class during the first 5 school days of any new subject.
After this initial 5-day period, add/drops can be requested for the next 15 school days; course changes during this period require additional administrative review.
After the initial 20 school day window, students may not drop classes except at the end of the semester grading period. Dropping the course during the semester (after the add/drop period) will result in a Withdraw Passing (WP) or Withdraw Failing (WF) grade for that grading period. These designations will stay on a student’s transcript, but the student’s grade will not be calculated into their GPA. Students should meet with administration to discuss options if the dropped class is a graduation requirement.
